Fred Lay President / Founder

Fred brings over 25 years of direct project management experience and 30 years of construction experience to CSI. Fred carries a Class “A” General Contractors License and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council. Additionally, Fred completed the Associated General Contractor’s (AGC) Journeyman’s license for HVAC, has received OSHA and Safety Certifications and Federal Security Clearances. As President of Construction Services, Inc. of Tampa, Fred is directly responsible for monitoring the overall business including construction process and quality control for each and every project. Fred’s design/build experience, with highly technical mechanical and electrical systems along with his strong focus on customer satisfaction, places him as a key member of Construction Services, Inc. of Tampa product delivery team.

Fred’s project resume includes HSBC, Pall Aerospace, Bright House, Chase, Dex Imaging, FBI, GSA, Department of Defense, DTCC, Raytheon, PPG Industries, Transitions Optical,  Verizon, International Fasteners, Household Finance, Walt Disney World, Salomon Brothers, Alamo Rent-A-Car, WCI Corporation, and numerous public sector project for Hillsborough County Code Enforcement, Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office and Hillsborough County Tax Collector.

Fred currently sits on the Board of Directors for The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, Teen Scene Academy, A Kid’s Place, Inc. and Building Construction committee for Kid’s Charity of Tampa Bay. Fred is the past chairman of the AGC’s Executives in Construction program and frequently speaks about industry issues at AGC training programs. Fred is also involved with the University of Tampa Entrepreneur Program and the Sykes School of Business. He is the Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Joshua House & Children’s Home Society of Florida and is active in numerous Florida State Fair, All Children’s Hospital, Relay for Life and Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer 3-Day fundraising projects.  Fred is also a member of the 2012-2013 Leadership Tampa Bay.

Craig Verville

Craig Verville Vice President

Craig Verville brings over 15 years of construction experience to Construction Services Inc. of Tampa. He brings an extensive knowledge of all construction disciplines. He is an expert at reading and analyzing construction documents, performing site evaluations, estimating and critical path method scheduling.

He is responsible for the overall project management and supervision for all on site management on any given construction project. These oversights include subcontract procurement, project purchasing, subcontractor relations, material scheduling, architect liaison, budget monitoring and project specific accounting. Craig is also directly responsible for maintaining project specific communications with the owner throughout the construction process. Craig and the project superintendent are ultimately responsible for insuring a safe, profitable, high quality finished project.
